Hi Cabaret Friends!

My name is Dominick Nero, I've been involved at Cabaret since I got to Rutgers in 2009, and I'm most known around the theatre for my work in production and direction for Rutgers Night Live!

Recently I've ventured out from the comedy world, trying my hand at some dramatic film. My official first outing into the short film scene has hit the web and I'd like to share it with you guys, because it was shot exclusively on the Cabaret stage, and incorporates the lessons I've learned from my days in the No Diving Improv Troupe (Cabaret's very own Improv Troupe, RIP).

"Wonderland" is the story of a young Improv comic (Bryton McGrath), who realizes the ever-thinning line between his life, and the lives of his characters in his comedy games.

All actors are either current or alumni Rutgers students, as well as the crew who helped me with the production.

Please help me share this homegrown Cabaret piece of cinema, I care about it very deeply, and it signifies something quite important about the state of theatre in our lives!

Watch it right here: https://vimeo.com/46499502
