About Cabaret

Since 1975, Cabaret Theatre has been committed to providing the university and its surrounding community with a wide variety of theatrical experiences, as well as offering a forum for students to learn about acting, directing, writing, business management, design and construction through various workshops and hands-on experience.

Cabaret Theatre is located on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

Cabaret Theatre is many things. If there was a word cloud that described Cabaret, it would look like this:

Cheap. Always a plus.

  2. Hello!

My name is Matt Freeman and I am the Education Director at Tectonic Theater Project.

Part of Tectonic’s mission is to connect with the schools and theaters presenting or studying its work. If you’re interested, we send our company members to lead workshops, deliver lectures, run master classes, and facilitate conversations (virtually and in-person) about Tectonic’s process, projects, and methodology.

I’d love to set-up a time to chat in more detail, hear about your upcoming production, and discuss possibilities for a Tectonic collaboration.

Many thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon.
