The Night of One Acts of (ANOA if you’re hella cool. I thought it was a palindrome, it wasn’t) consists of two original plays written by Cabaret’s own Stephen Hilger and Allison Kroeper. Here’s a photo of the two of them together.

YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP, KIDS!!

Stephen Hilger, of the I. Am. Rutgers fame and his stand-up talents, wrote the one act play Brick Wall. I snagged the description and cast list from our FB event:

This dark comedy pits a group of comedians in a fight for their lives and a bottle of half-grade tequila. An insightful, humorous, and heartwrenching story, this show will keep you asking: why are they doing this? You’ll have to see to find out.

Ricky- Dan Conroy
Calvin- Nolan Maher
Katie- Kelsey Flanigan
Al- Johnny Dellaluna
Betty- Sam Orner
Gary- Erik Stratton
Scott- Chris Pasi

The show, directed by Andy Martinez, is sure to be a crowd pleaser. How can it not with this guy?!?!

Stephanie- Julia Barnett
Janice- Abigail Nutter
Bobby- Erik Stratton
Robbie- Jordan Gochman
Jason- Nolan Maher
Christian- Dan Conroy
Henry- Robert Piserchia

Directed by these adorable, lovely ladies, KAAAAAATE THOMAS and Justice Hehir (there was no reason to capitalize all of Kate’s name, I just wanted to).

The show will make you cry, laugh, and yell “OOOOOOH SH*T!”

All in all, the show is shaping up to majorly kick a**. The show opens this Friday, March 8th, at 8 pm, with showings on Saturday, March 9th at 8 pm and Sunday, March 10th at 7 pm. Proceeds from Sunday’s performance will be donated to the GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network)!

If I had to describe the show in a song, here’s my choice.

And with that, Nutter out.
